Pocket BVM er en engangs ventilasjonsbag med tilhørende ventilasjonsmaske, oksygenreservoar og tilkobling for oksygenslange, som er pakket ned i en kompakt solid plastboks, som beskytter ventilasjonsbagen fra omgivelsene, og gjør den klar til bruk - når du har behov for den.
Ventilasjonsbagen passer til alle standard ventilasjonsmasker, endotrachealtuber, larynxtuber/-masker o.l.
Pocket BVM tar inntil 75% mindre plass i akuttsekken din, enn tilsvarende ventilasjonsbager.

The Pocket BVM (bag valve mask) is an innovative resuscitator that provides breathing support to patients experiencing respiratory distress. Unlike any other BVM, the Pocket BVM has a patented collapsible design that enables it to fit into a compact and durable case. This unique design makes it the most compact, fully functional BVM on the market. The Pocket BVM saves 75% in space compared to standard BVMs. Its dimensions are 13.4 cm diameter x 6.3 cm height / 5.2 ” diameter x 2.2 ” height, and it easily fits into any emergency kit. This is an especially important factor for paramedics who have space issues such as those on bikes, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (AVTs), helicopters etc.
The Pocket BVM package contains a bag, mask, patient valve and reservoir bag- everything a paramedic needs to provide a resuscitation procedure. This means that first responders don’t have to waste any time looking for equipment and everything they need is readily available.
Another advantage of the Pocket BVM is that it can easily be passed from one EMS provider to another. It can be thrown even in the toughest of circumstances – fire, water, dirt etc. The box is especially robust and water-resistant and is built to withstand the most challenging environments.
The Pocket BVM is made of the highest quality materials. The resuscitator is crafted from top-end silicone and all of the connections and materials conform to industry safety standards. The entire unit is simple to assemble and can be ready in seconds. The resuscitator itself has an ergonomic and lightweight design for optimal end-user handling and requires minimum pressure for compression and quickly recovers its shape. Additionally, it has a special textured surface to ensure a comfortable and firm grip which allows for effective ventilation for extended periods while simultaneously reducing hand fatigue.
Due to its unique design, the Pocket BVM has become the BVM of choice for military units (U.S., Germany, NATO etc.) as well as civilian organizations such as airlines, EMS units and firefighters. The Pocket BVM is also available with O Tubing or a black BVM for tactical units.
